Attachments With LegalSquire you can attach documents to your records for easy viewing. These can either be documents that are scanned in or electronic files such as an e-mail, a word processing document or a spreadsheet. This feature is very convenient when you need a copy of a document fast or if your hard files are stored in various locations. This is also useful for ensuring that you have a copy of a document in the event that the original is misplaced or damaged.
Unlike using a desktop database program where you create links to scanned documents, LegalSquire stores the attachments within the program so administration and creating backups are easy.
LegalSquire uses an enterprise relational database for robust data management and integrity.
Deployment LegalSquire’s Web based architecture makes it easy to deploy and maintain. Unlike a desktop application, it only needs to be installed on one server and upgrades and maintenance are done on that one computer. Users are then given user names and passwords to access it via a Web browser.
Drop-Down Box Options LegalSquire allows you to change the names or add new names available in drop down box selections in order to better suit your company’s preferences. For example, if the type of contract or agreement that you would like to track is not listed, you can easily add it.
Easy Migration If you have been using another program such as a spreadsheet to monitor your documents, LegalSquire allows you to upload most of your data into the program using either XML or flat files. This allows for a much easier migration from your old tracking system to LegalSquire.
A lot of the data entry you did in your old system can be saved.
Flexible Field Names If your company would like to change the name of certain fields to better integrate with the titles you use, this is easily done with LegalSquire. For example, if you prefer “Application No.” over “Serial No.” you can change the field to suit your needs.

LegalSquire allows for the tracking of foreign currencies, time zones, etc.
Multiple Departments LegalSquire includes 10 user licenses that allow you to distribute access to the program to those at your company who might also have a need to view your company’s legal information.
Not only can your Contract Administrator or Paralegal access this information, but Accounting departments can confirm whether contracts are still valid and the IT (Information Technology) Group can monitor and keep track of all the Domain Names your company owns and when they expire.
Personalized Home Page Each person with an account has their own personalized home page. Each time you log in you can see the documents you visited most recently, your reports, your Subscriptions and a list of items you have deleted from the software.
Remote Access If you need to access LegalSquire remotely, LegalSquire’s Web-based architecture makes accessing the program very easy to do. Unlike a desktop program that will run too slow when accessed remotely, LegalSquire will run at the same speed and ease as accessing a Website.
Scalable By using an enterprise relational database, LegalSquire is able to support far more records than a typical desktop database without the risk of data corruption.
As your company grows, the program is also able to expand to accommodate many users.
Search Our keyword search helps you quickly find what you are looking for. Using Advanced Search you can also perform keyword searches in large text fields.
Security Using SSL/HTTPS you can encrypt all data between the browser and the server to avoid eavesdropping.
Individual accounts have different security levels: Viewer, Editor, or Administrator.
Spreadsheets If you need to manipulate the data you’ve entered within a spreadsheet, LegalSquire can accommodate this with the click of a button. LegalSquire allows you to download your information into a spreadsheet program of your choice.
User Friendly Interface & Training You can easily input your vital legal information for quick retrieval and searching using LegalSquire’s user friendly interface. LegalSquire is so easy to use that those who may need to access the information but don’t use it that often can navigate within the program and find what they need with minimal training (less than 5 minutes). For users who will be using the program on a deeper level, your purchase of LegalSquire comes with a complimentary training session via WebEx, GoToMeeting, or equivalent for up to 10 users.
